v12.1 release – Veeam Data Platform

Yesterday, Veeam Software released their newest update for the Veeam Data Platform ’23H2′. 11 products have received updates. There’s a major focus on security with this release, like the Inline Malware Scan, YARA rules, ‘four-eyes authentication’, Incident API and much more. The Best Practice Analyzer has been renamed to Security & Compliance Analyzer, and now contains much more detailed checks and can be scheduled. And the new Threat Center Dashboard gives you a central view on your data protection security status, while it’s a Veeam ONE feature, the dashboard is also visible in Backup & Replication and the Recovery Orchestrator. The release version of Veeam Backup & Replication 12.1 is available for download at Veeam website starting from December 5, 2023.
