In the upcoming Veeam Backup & Replication v9.5 release, Veeam announced some new features. Veeam B&R 9.5 should be available this year as an intermediate version.

What’s new in Veeam B&R 9.5? Subscribe to the official Veeam Availability Suite 9.5 page. New release will allow you to use storage snapshot from Nimble Storage and restore or migrate anything from on-premises to Azure. Basically, you optimize resource allocation to drive scalability and minimize cost.

Microsoft’s Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS) is Windows’ built-in infrastructure for application backups. As a native Windows service, VSS facilitates creating a consistent view of application data during the course of a backup. Hi, today I have the honor to share with you a great news. I have been selected for the Veeam Vanguard program 2016 for the first year!

What is “Veeam Vanguard” program?

The Veeam Vanguard program is a selection of experts (world wide) that Veeam Software has considered relevant to promote the values of Veeam (understand the products and are closest peers in IT). This program will be both much like other award programs you may be familiar with yet different in our own way (for example “MVP” for Microsoft).
