It was an amazing experience! Thanks to Jean-François Albertini (Systems Engineer, Veeam France) and Kseniya Skovorodko (Team Lead Online Events EMEA, Veeam Software) The video is available on Veeam’s website here 🙂

Veeam Agent for Windows is a tool that backs up physical Windows systems such as a workstation, a server or machines in the public cloud. This tool creates image-based backups that are stored in .VBK format, the same as in Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Agent for Linux. There are three editions: “Free“, “Workstation” and “Server” being released that include enterprise features such as Application Aware Processing (VSS), flexible scheduling and retention options all while being able to backup directly to Cloud Connect repositories. The most important here is that this covers physical workloads (physical server) as well by way of the Server version. For information, new Veeam Availability Suite 9.5 release allows you to use storage snapshot from Nimble Storage and restore or migrate anything from on-premises to Azure. Basically, you optimize resource allocation to drive scalability and minimize cost. More information about Nimble Storage and Cloud Azure here.
