VeeamON Forum France – Interviewed by LeMagIT

Hi, I was interviewed by @LeMagIT about Veeam’s vision and strategy 2018 during VeeamON Forum in France. This is a french IT website intended for IT Manager and CIO. The main title is “Veeam vise le milliard de CA en innovant dans la sauvegarde”. Basically, the article is written in French but it’s a good way to learn a beautiful language. 🙂

Last month, I participated at VeeamON Forum France as Veeam Vanguard. VeeamON Forum France 2018 took place in Paris (Palais Brongniart). If you participated, you may have noticed that Veeam decided to do things a little differently this year, showcasing how much they focus on Cloud technology. In between discussions about Cloud backups and disaster recovery with Veeam, Veeam’s Speakers were talking about large-scale multi-cloud infrastructures. Then, Veeam Evangelists were talking about new features such as Veeam DataLabs, Staged Restore, Quarantine, Veeam Availability Orchestrator (VAO), Veeam Backup for Office365 v2, Veeam Agents, Veeam Availability for AWS (Amazon), Veeam with Microsoft Azure, GDPR etc.

About Veeam Vanguard program:

The Veeam Vanguard program is a selection of experts (Top 50 worldwide) that Veeam Software has considered relevant to promote the values of Veeam (understand the products and are closest peers in IT). This program will be both much like other award programs you may be familiar with yet different in our own way (for example Microsoft “MVP” community). Some Vanguards are bloggers, partners, customers, influencers others are very active users (Veeam forum), others are Spiceworks where users share content and answers about Veeam etc. Veeam Vanguards are people who embrace Veeam the best in their respective communities. They come from all backgrounds and are spread across different products.
