Hello,

Many thanks for your visit in 2018, I wish you all the best for the New Year 2019! Hope you have the energy and the element of good fortune we will all need to ensure a successful to the new year and a prosperous future beyond that. I hope you all are having great holidays. I would also like to thank Veeam Software (in particular Alexandra) which is the first supporter that sponsors this blog. Special thanks to “LeMagIT.fr” magazine, they published one interview in French about Veeam Availability Suite v9.5 Update 4, then thanks to Veeam France (in particular Alexis) and Monaco Informatique Service – Avangarde, we organized 3 webinars and 2 events (#SecureITDay)! Many events will be coming in 2019… 😉 Finally, special thanks to “SMART DSI” magazine, we published one article in French about Data Protection.

2018 also saw clear confirmation of 2017 trend with the same number of visitors.

Since 2014, the blog grew up! Basically, I have some wishes for 2019 but one of them is ALWAYS to run my first marathon! So, I hope everything will be alright and now my life cycle is training, work, warm up, training, hard work etc. 🙂

Basically, It was an honor to be part of the #VeeamVanguard line up 2018. Enjoyed a great time in Chicago & Prague (VeeamON and Vanguard Summit). Hope to see you next year again! Thanks to Veeam especially Rick Vanover, DK and others Evangelists.

The three which were the most read through the year are:

1) Script to disable UAC Server on Windows Server 2016

The third post is focused on Microsoft. The easiest way to disable UAC (User Account Control) on Windows Server 2016 is to modify the registry key on the server. You may use this reg file to Disable the UAC. Simply, double-click the registry file and settings will be imported on the machine. This script can also to be used on Windows Server 2012 R2. Under certain constrained circumstances, disabling User Account Control (UAC) on Windows Server can be an acceptable and recommended practice. These circumstances occur only when all the following conditions are true: Only administrators are allowed to log on to the Windows-based server interactively at the console or by using Remote Desktop Services and administrators log on to the Windows-based server only to perform legitimate system administrative functions on the server.

2) Step by Step Guide Veeam Agent for Windows

Two years ago, Veeam released Veeam Agent for Windows (VAW). This article provides a step by step guide to install Veeam Agent for Windows. Veeam Agents (Windows and Linux) are powerful. They can allow you to back up your physical workloads. In Veeam B&R 9.5 Update 3 release, Veeamallows to manage and monitor your Veeam Backup and Replication environment and the whole of your workstations and standalone servers since only one interface!

3) Step by Step Guide Veeam B&R 9.5 Install

The third post is focused on Veeam B&R v9.5. The second post the most read last year is an article written in 2016. Veeam released Veeam Backup and Replication version 9.5, which contains some significant improvements such as Nimble integration, Direct Restore to Microsoft Azure, VMware vCloud Director support, Microsoft 2016 Datacenter Technologies and more. This article provides a step by step guide to INSTALL Veeam B&R 9.5 (Veeam B&R 9.5 Install).

2019, what’s new?
